Welcome to Shop Chat Portal LLC ("Shop Chat," "we," "our," or "us"), a licensed company incorporated under the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Shop Chat Portal maintains the website https://shopchat.ae and the mobile application "Shopchat" (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using the Platform.

  • The United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile, and we operate in accordance with the laws and regulations of the UAE.
  • Any purchase, dispute, or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
  • Visa and MasterCard debit and credit cards in AED will be accepted for payment. Payments are processed through Telr, an authorized and secure payment gateway.
  • The displayed price and currency at the checkout page will be the same price and currency printed on the transaction receipt, and the amount charged to the card will be shown in your card's currency.
  • We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctioned countries in compliance with UAE law. We do not process payments or accept transactions from sanctioned countries including Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Sudan, South Sudan, Ukraine, Syria, Russian Federation, Myanmar, and Yemen.
  • Minors under the age of 18 shall not register as Users of the Platform and shall not transact on or use the Platform. Registration requires accurate and complete information.
  • Cardholders must retain a copy of transaction records and comply with Shop Chat Portal's policies and rules. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account.
  • Shop Chat operates as a multi-vendor online marketplace enabling users to: Buy and sell local products from UAE vendors, purchase global products through international suppliers, participate in commercial activities, benefit from entertainment features such as Prize Vault and competitions, and enjoy social features such as product sharing and seller ratings.
  • Shop Chat reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be effective once published on the Platform. The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet legal and operational requirements.

Privacy Policy

At Shop Chat Portal LLC ("Shop Chat," "we," "our," or "us"), we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website https://shopchat.ae and the mobile application "Shopchat" (the "Platform"). By using our Platform, you agree to this Policy.

  • Legal Compliance: This Policy is prepared in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL), UAE Consumer Protection Law and e-commerce regulations, and requirements from our payment partner Telr.
  • Data We Collect: We may collect personal details (name, email, phone, shipping/billing address), transactional details (orders, payments, refunds), technical details (IP address, device identifiers, cookies), and vendor/shop details where applicable.
  • Use of Data: We use personal data to process and deliver orders, facilitate secure payments, improve services and campaigns (Prize Vault, competitions, etc.), and comply with UAE laws and financial regulations.
  • Payment Data & Security: All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented, or leased to any third parties. https://shopchat.ae and the mobile application "Shopchat" will not pass any debit/credit card details to third parties. Payments are processed securely through PCI-DSS compliant gateways (Telr, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.).
  • Data Security: https://shopchat.ae and "Shopchat" take appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security, including hardware and software safeguards. However, we cannot guarantee the security of information disclosed online. Users accept this risk when using the Platform.
  • Third-Party Links: Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such websites. If you provide information to them, different rules may apply. You should contact these entities directly regarding their data policies.
  • Data Sharing: We may share information with vendors and logistics partners (to fulfill orders), global suppliers (e.g., CJ Dropshipping for international orders), payment processors (Telr, banks, etc.), and regulatory authorities where legally required. We do not sell or rent personal data.
  • Data Retention: Personal data is retained as long as necessary to provide services or as required by UAE law. Transactional data may be retained for 5 years under UAE commercial law.
  • User Rights (UAE PDPL): Users may request access to their data, correction or deletion of data, withdrawal of consent, and data portability (where technically feasible).
  • Policy Updates: The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet legal and operational requirements. Customers are encouraged to check this page frequently for updates. Changes will take effect from the date they are posted.

Delivery Policy

Shop Chat Portal LLC is committed to providing a safe and reliable delivery experience for our customers, both within the United Arab Emirates and internationally. This Delivery Policy outlines the process for shipping, delivery timelines, fees, and proof of receipt.

Delivery Scope: We deliver our products within the UAE and worldwide. Shipping is carried out through third-party courier services and logistics partners.

  • Within UAE cities: Delivery is typically completed within 1 – 2 working days.
  • International deliveries: Orders are usually delivered within 4 – 10 working days, depending on the destination country and location.
  • Delivery Fees - Within UAE: A flat delivery fee of AED 10 will apply to all orders.
  • Delivery Fees - Outside UAE: Delivery fees will be calculated at checkout and depend on the destination country and location. Free delivery may be offered during promotional campaigns.
  • Delivery times may be longer during high-demand seasons (e.g., Black Friday, Ramadan, sales campaigns).

Proof of Delivery: Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and contact number to avoid delays. Upon delivery, customers will be asked to sign a delivery receipt or confirm delivery via SMS/OTP or electronic confirmation. A signed or electronically confirmed delivery receipt will serve as the official proof of delivery.

Shipping of Items & Condition of Goods: Products are carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery in good condition. If an item is received damaged, customers must contact our customer support team to request a return or replacement in line with our Refund & Return Policy.

Multiple Shipments: Orders may be shipped in multiple parcels if they include products from different vendors or global suppliers (e.g., CJ Dropshipping). Customers will be informed during checkout of the possibility of multiple shipments. Multiple shipments may result in multiple postings to the cardholder's monthly statement.

Unexpected Delays: Delivery timelines may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as customs clearance procedures, public holidays, or weather conditions.

Delivery of Services: For digital or entertainment services (such as Prize Vault participation, competitions, or subscriptions), delivery is considered complete once the service is activated on the Shop Chat app or website after successful payment. Service activation will serve as proof of delivery.

Payment Confirmation

Once the payment is made, the customer will receive a payment confirmation notice via email within 24 hours of payment receipt.

The confirmation will include the transaction reference number, order details, and total amount paid.

Customers may also receive an SMS notification depending on their mobile operator and contact details provided at checkout.

Customers are advised to keep the confirmation notice for their records.

Refund & Return Policy

At Shop Chat Portal LLC, customer satisfaction is our priority. This Refund & Return Policy explains the conditions under which refunds or returns are accepted for purchases made via our website https://shopchat.ae and mobile application "Shopchat". By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Return Policy: We accept returns within 7 calendar days of receipt of the product.

Returns are only accepted if: The delivery packaging has not been opened, the product is damaged, defective, or the wrong item was delivered. Products must be unused, sealed, untampered, and in their original packaging.

Please notify us before returning and ship the product back using a registered courier service. Once verified, we will either send a replacement or process a refund.

We reserve the right to refuse returns if the product has been used, tampered with, or is non-returnable (perishable, personal care, hygiene products, digital goods, customized items). Shipping & handling fees are non-refundable.

Refund Policy: Refunds are approved only after the returned product has been received and inspected.

Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment and will be processed within 10 to 45 days depending on the issuing bank of the credit card.

If vouchers, discounts, or campaigns were used, the refunded amount may be adjusted accordingly. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds may be credited to the customer's Shop Chat wallet or UAE bank account.

Global Products (Dropshipping Orders): Refunds/returns are accepted only if the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect. International return shipping costs may apply and are the responsibility of the customer (unless the product is defective/wrong). Delivery delays due to customs or international logistics are not refundable.

Prize Vault, Campaigns & Competitions: Products obtained through Prize Vault or promotional campaigns are not eligible for cash refunds, unless defective or damaged. Shop Chat reserves the right to replace the item with an equivalent product or compensation.

Customer Responsibilities: Ensure the shipping address and contact details are accurate. Retain proof of purchase and delivery confirmation. Pack returned items securely to avoid damage in transit.

Cancellation Policy

At Shop Chat Portal LLC, we aim to provide flexibility to customers while ensuring compliance with UAE laws and payment gateway requirements. This Cancellation Policy explains the conditions and timeframes under which customers may cancel their orders or services.

Cancellation Window: Customers may request to cancel their order or service within 24 hours of placing the order. Cancellation requests must be submitted via our customer support channels (email, app, or website).

Conditions for Local Products (UAE Vendors): Cancellation is only possible if the product has not yet been shipped. Once shipped, the Refund & Return Policy will apply.

Conditions for Global Products (Dropshipping): Due to international processing, cancellations are only accepted within 12 hours of placing the order. After this window, the Refund & Return Policy applies.

Services (e.g., Prize Vault participation, competitions, promotions): Once activated, services are non-cancellable and non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Refund for Cancelled Orders: Refunds for approved cancellations will be processed back to the original mode of payment only. Refunds will be made through the original payment solution used initially by the customer and may take up to 10 to 45 days depending on the issuing bank of the credit card.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds may be credited to the customer's Shop Chat wallet or UAE bank account.

No Cancellation / No Refund Cases: Once a product has been shipped or a service has been activated, cancellation is not permitted. Items purchased through Prize Vault or promotional campaigns are non-cancellable and non-refundable except in cases of defects or errors.

These conditions are communicated before purchase to ensure clarity and prevent disputes.

Pricing and Description

The prices displayed on https://shopchat.ae and the "Shopchat" mobile application will be in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirhams) unless otherwise specified.

Prices and product descriptions are subject to change without notice. In case of errors in product description or pricing, Shop Chat reserves the right to cancel or refuse the order.

Prohibited Transactions:

We do not process payments or accept transactions from sanctioned countries including Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Sudan, South Sudan, Ukraine, Syria, Russian Federation, Myanmar and Yemen. We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctioned countries in compliance with UAE law.

Vendor / Seller Agreement

This Vendor/Seller Agreement governs the relationship between Shop Chat Portal LLC and vendors/sellers using the Shop Chat Marketplace Platform to list, market, sell, and deliver products to customers.

Parties: This Agreement is between Shop Chat Portal LLC, incorporated under UAE laws with registered office in Dubai, and the Vendor/Seller, being a legally registered entity or individual authorized to sell products in the UAE or through cross-border trade.

Vendor Eligibility & Obligations: Vendors must hold a valid UAE trade license (for local products) or international business license (for global suppliers). Vendors must comply with all applicable UAE laws, including Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 on VAT, and Intellectual Property laws.

Vendor Obligations: Provide accurate product information, images, and specifications; warranty and after-sales service where required; invoices inclusive of VAT (if applicable); ensure all listed products are genuine, safe, and lawful in the UAE.

Product Listings: Shop Chat reserves the right to review, approve, or reject product listings. Prohibited or restricted items under UAE law cannot be listed. Vendors must update stock availability in real time.

Order Fulfillment & Delivery: For Local Products, vendors must package and ship orders within agreed timelines. For Global Products (Dropshipping), vendors must ensure proper logistics and international compliance. Vendors bear responsibility for customs, duties, or regulatory clearance unless otherwise agreed.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations: Vendors must comply with Shop Chat's policies in line with UAE law. If a product is defective, counterfeit, or misrepresented, the vendor bears full liability for refunds and associated costs.

Pricing & Payments: Vendors set their own product prices, subject to Shop Chat's guidelines. Shop Chat may deduct a commission fee from each transaction. Payments will be remitted to the vendor's registered bank account periodically, net of fees, refunds, and VAT.

Campaigns & Promotions: Vendors may participate in sales campaigns, promotions, and advertising programs. Products offered as part of Prize Vault or promotions must be supplied promptly at agreed promotional rates.

Intellectual Property: Vendors grant Shop Chat a non-exclusive license to use product images, descriptions, and trademarks for marketing. Vendors must not infringe third-party IP rights. Counterfeit products lead to immediate termination.

Liability & Indemnity: Vendors are solely responsible for product quality, safety, and compliance. Vendors shall indemnify Shop Chat against claims, damages, or penalties arising from defective, counterfeit, or unlawful products.

Confidentiality: Vendors shall not disclose confidential information, including platform data, pricing algorithms, or customer details.

Term & Termination: This Agreement remains effective until terminated by either party with 30 days' written notice. Shop Chat may suspend or terminate vendor accounts immediately for violations of UAE laws or platform policies.

Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by UAE laws. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UAE Courts. Alternative dispute resolution may apply if agreed, including arbitration under Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC).

Amendments: Shop Chat reserves the right to amend this Agreement with prior notice. Continued listing constitutes acceptance of amendments. This Agreement is non-transferable without Shop Chat's written approval.
